(702) 434-1700
Map it
Hours of operation: Mon. - Fri., 8:30 am - 4:30 pm This
whimsical look at the production of clown sculptures is a short drive
from the Strip in Henderson. Ron Lee started out creating wildlife
drawings in his father's garage in 1976. As his love of clowns took
over, he kept expanding, until finally, he moved to Henderson in 1994 to
the factory on Carousel Way. Soon the self-made artist was creating
sculptures for Warner Brothers and Disney, but he kept a local bent on
his work -- one piece, for example, features Bugs Bunny standing beneath
the famous Las Vegas welcome sign. And collectors and curious visitors
can visit the factory and get a first-hand view of the creative process.

stampede at Sams Town has been around about five years. Located in Sams
Town's Mystic Falls Park, a
25,000-square-foot live forest within an atrium, the eight-minute show
begins with the bellow of an animatronic wolf, which appears as if from
nowhere from his home in the mountain side. The fountains at Sams Town then come
alive as they dance along to a symphonic journey through the Wild West.
The music includes, but is not limited to, the sounds of nature, the
fury of the Gold Rush, the lonely cowpoke riding the range.
